What This Report Measures
WILL Interactive delivers a broad portfolio of training programs spanning professional development, cybersecurity, workplace safety, culture and belonging, harassment prevention, bystander intervention, and more, designed to meet the evolving needs of modern workplaces. Across this ecosystem, the Guardian Suite provides a unified measurement framework that tracks changes in knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors over time, enabling a consistent, evidence-based assessment of whether learning translates into real-world impact.
Within this broader portfolio, this report focuses specifically on Common Ground Business (Employees), WILL Interactive's flagship harassment prevention program. By isolating a single course, this analysis enables a more precise examination of how WILL's learning methodology drives measurable change, offering insight into shifts in understanding, confidence, and workplace behavior that extend beyond traditional completion-based metrics.
To evaluate effectiveness, we analyzed paired baseline ("Before WILL") and post-training ("After WILL") survey data from an anonymous global technology organization representing 7,707 employees.
Three Dimensions of Impact
Knowledge
How well employees understand workplace harassment policies and legal obligations
Behavior
Whether employees are more likely to speak up, intervene, and report misconduct
Attitude
How training shifts mindset and confidence around workplace culture
How We Measure Real Change
Participants were randomly assigned a single survey question aligned to one of three categories (Knowledge, Behavior, or Attitudes) and responded to the same question before and after training. Responses were collected in aggregate to ensure confidentiality and to surface organizational-level trends rather than individual outcomes.
This structure enables a direct before-and-after comparison, providing a clear view of how training influences awareness, decision-making, and workplace mindset at scale.
Question Categories
Survey questions are organized into three measurement types
Knowledge
Assesses understanding and information retention
Behavioral Intent
Measures intended actions and behavioral changes
Attitude
Evaluates feelings, beliefs, and perspectives
Each category provides unique insights into training effectiveness
Why This Methodology Matters
Most training vendors only report completion rates.
WILL measures actual shifts in what employees know, believe, and intend to do.
That is the difference between activity and impact.
